Number of assisted people: 700, among them children, teenagers, families, and senior citizens.

The Entity provides assistance in three different areas: Health, Education, and Complementary Activities. In the health area, the assisted community avails from a series of medical benefits.

In the educational area, the Cruz de Malta Daycare assists 220 children from the ages of 0 to 7 and provides education, meals, medical assistance, psychological counseling, and speech therapy. Children receive five meals a day while enrolled at the daycare.

The following complementary activities are offered to teenagers: Sanitary Education, Crafts, Legal Counseling, Digital Literacy, and Medicine Donation, among others.
The Entity has a partnership with the Fundação do Bem Estar do Menor and assists 230 teenagers currently under juvenile detention.



Associação Beneficente a Mão Branca

The Association provides both full-time and part-time assisted living for 146 senior citizens with any financial or medical conditions.

The senior citizens are involved in a number of activities: gym, field trips, dance, parties, bingo, games, crafts, literacy classes, and music. The Associação Beneficente a Mão Branca also has a library, church, chapel, TV room, game room, cafeteria, and comfortable rooms and apartments.
